DSC Class 3 for e-Tendering
Class 3 Digital Signature Certificate with signing and encryption, needed for CPPP and state e-tender portals.
A Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) is your legal electronic signature. Most e-tender portals require a Class 3 DSC with both signing and encryption to register and submit bids. We issue DSCs through a licensed Certifying Authority, and the certificate and USB token stay with you.

About Class 3 DSC
A Digital Signature Certificate is the electronic form of your signature, issued by a Certifying Authority licensed under the Controller of Certifying Authorities (CCA). On e-tender portals it is used for two things: signing, which proves that the bid came from you, and encryption, which keeps your bid sealed until the opening time. That is why most portals ask for a Class 3 certificate with both functions, often called a combo DSC.
Why it matters
Without a valid DSC you cannot enrol on CPPP or state portals, and you cannot submit a bid. An expired DSC on the day of submission is one of the most common reasons for missing a deadline. The type also matters: an organisation DSC carries the firm's name, which some tenders prefer, while an individual DSC is issued in the signatory's own name.
How we do it, step by step
- Choose the type: individual or organisation, signing only or signing plus encryption, and 1, 2 or 3 years validity.
- Application: we fill the application with your details and start the paperless eKYC.
- Verification: you complete the mobile, email and short video verification; we stay with you on the call if needed.
- Issue and token: the certificate is downloaded into a FIPS-compliant USB token that is delivered to you.
- Setup: we install the token driver and signing utility on your computer remotely and test it on the portal.
Common mistakes we prevent
- Buying a signing-only DSC when the portal needs encryption too
- Name on the DSC not matching the name registered on the portal
- Letting the DSC expire in the middle of an active tender
- Sharing the token or PIN with others
After issue
The token and PIN stay with you. We note your expiry date and remind you before renewal, so that you are never caught without a valid DSC on a submission day.
Who needs this
- Anyone bidding on CPPP or state e-procurement portals
- Authorised signatories of firms and companies
- Businesses whose existing DSC has expired

Common questions
Which DSC do I need for e-tendering?
Most portals need a Class 3 DSC with both signing and encryption (often called a combo DSC). We confirm this for the portal you will use.
How long is a DSC valid?
You can choose 1, 2 or 3 years. Longer validity costs more but saves renewal time.
Will you keep my DSC token?
No. The token belongs to you. We work through a remote session when a signature is needed.
